The Approach
Delivered as a joint venture with the homeowner, this project was strategically planned to maximise the property’s potential by introducing a fully self-contained studio.
I led the design direction and project strategy, reimagining the existing footprint into a functional one-bedroom layout, complete with kitchen, living area, and bathroom. Every decision—from spatial planning to material selection—was made with the end market in mind, ensuring the space felt cohesive, practical, and desirable.
The Outcome
The transformation resulted in a high-quality, self-contained studio that significantly increased the property’s usability and market appeal.
The homeowner achieved a substantially higher sale price, directly reflecting the added value created through the renovation. This project stands as a clear example of how considered design and strategic planning can deliver strong financial outcomes through the right partnership.

Brick walls were framed, covered with Gyprock and painted to achieve a clean, fresh living space

By closing the garage roller doors we converted the unused garage into a functional living space

Second garage was turned into a bedroom adding value to the owner's home
We transformed the unused rumpus room into a functional kitchen


We added an enclosed bathroom with sink and shower next to the WC to complete the functionality of the self contained studio
